It's always been a challenge to get my children interested in writing. Lately, my daughter has shown an interest in creating her own blog. I thought that was a great idea! When there is a tangible purpose for writing, the motivation is there to push through the writing process. I found an interesting article on blogs for kids by Sharon Housley. My daughter completed her first poem that she will be posting on her brand-new blog today! I'm excited to see her be excited about writing!
